How to Store Onions the Right Way

Store Whole, Unpeeled Onion – Keep onions whole and unpeeled to extend their shelf life. Peeled or cut onions should be refrigerated.

Keep Onions Away from Potatoe – Store onions separately from potatoes, as they can release gases that speed up spoilage in each other.

Check Regularly for Soft Spot – Inspect onions periodically and remove any that show signs of softening, sprouting, or mold to prevent contamination.
